Job Description

Dicetek is recruiting for the job opening of an AI & Data Scientist in Abu Dhabi. The candidate is supposed to be proficient in machine learning, predictive analytics, forecasting, generative AI, and data engineering. It is a comprehensive role encompassing the entire cycle of model building from data ingesting to model deployment and optimization. This includes forecasting, demand predictions, customer behavior, and predictive maintenance algorithms for companies. The position also includes machine learning model solutions with LLM, data pipeline, and MLOps for production AI.

Experience: 5+ years of experience in data science, machine learning, AI, or related fields. 

Qualification: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in data science, computer science, engineering, statistics, or a related field.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and deploy machine learning, predictive analytics, forecasting and Generative AI solutions. 
  • Create scalable data pipelines as well as prepare data, engineer features, and perform statistics.
  • Perform time series forecasting, demand forecasting, customer behavior analysis and predictive maintenance.
  • Build models using large language models like GPT, Claude, Gemini, Llama, and Mistral.
  • Collaborate with business and IT teams for deployment, monitoring and optimization of models using the MLOps approach.

Requirements

  • Five years of minimum experience in the areas of data science, machine learning, artificial intelligence, or a similar field.
  • Knowledge of programming languages like Python, SQL, PySpark, and Databricks.
  • Experience in using the Azure platform and Azure Machine Learning.
  • Proficiency in Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Statistical Modeling, Forecasting, and Predictive Analysis.
  • Bachelor’s or master’s in data science, computer science, engineering, statistics, or any other similar discipline.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience building time series forecast and demand prediction models.
  • Hands-on experience with Generative AI and LLM-based applications.
  • Hands-on experience with data engineering and feature engineering.
  • Understanding of the deployment, monitoring, and optimization of the model in the production environment.
  • Experience in problem-solving of business problems through artificial intelligence solutions, along with business and technical colleagues.
