Job Description

Presight is hiring an Engineer—Full Stack to work at their Abu Dhabi office. The main focus of this job is to build business intelligence platforms, using both back-end and front-end platforms. This role requires the candidate to build architectures for web applications, databases, applications, servers, RESTful services, and APIs, among other responsibilities. The candidates are also required to have experience with full-stack development, React.js, RESTful APIs, and cloud technology in order to contribute to Presight’s new-age projects based on data and artificial intelligence.

Responsibilities

  • Design architecture of websites in the front end from designs, mock-ups, and wireframes.
  • Develop and manage back-end databases, applications, and servers of the business intelligence platform.
  • Design the REST Services and API in a manner that makes the application scalable and reliable.
  • Make the application optimized by considering performance, usability, maintainability, and security.
  • Work together with product managers, architects, and software developers in designing the functionalities of the platform.

Qualifications

  • More than 4 years of experience in full-stack web development.
  • 3 years of professional experience in developing applications based on React.js framework.
  • More than 2 years of experience in server-side programming languages such as Java, Node.js and Python.
  • Knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, web development, and fundamentals of computer science.
  • Experience in developing SPAs in React, state management, and databases (relational and non-relational).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with popular UI components and frameworks used to build web front-end.
  • Experience with Machine Learning and Large Language Models.
  • Hands-on experience working on DevOps assignments like CI/CD . 
  • Hands-on experience in cloud architecture and site reliability engineering. 
  • Understanding of browser media capabilities such as Canvas, Audio, and Video.
