Job Description

Wipro is recruiting for the Automation Engineer L4 position in Dubai. The job profile entails the development, programming, simulation, and testing of automation products and processes to make them more efficient and effective. The profile entails analyzing technology architecture and application stacks, preparing an automation roadmap, making improvements to an automation framework that can be reused, and preparing a detailed testing plan and scenarios. It includes the implementation of test automation, the functional and non-functional coverage testing, bug fixing, and the creation of automated testing tools.

Responsibilities

  • Study technology architecture, systems interaction, application stack, and software needs for automation solutions.
  • Build and maintain frameworks for reuse within various technology environments and industry verticals.
  • Plan test plans, test cases, scenarios, and usage cases by performing functional, regression, and performance testing.
  • Create automated tests, manage quality metrics, fix bugs, and verify software based on functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Work with Agile development teams, developers, domain experts, QA engineers, and customers to enhance continuous deployment, documentation, and automation.

Qualifications

  • At least 5 to 8 years of practical experience in automation engineering & software testing.
  • Good experience in test automation and implementation of automation testing solutions.
  • Experience in creating test plans, test cases, test scenarios, and automation framework designs.
  • Familiarity with functional, regression, performance, and software validation testing.
  • Ability to develop backend and database programming adhering to coding standards and good design principles.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with Agile development teams and product backlogs.
  • Experience in creating scalable and reusable automation solutions through different technologies.
  • Experience in using continuous deployment techniques, automation tools, and testing processes for software validation.
  • Ability to analyze complex technical problems and to find and fix defects.
  • Good communication and documentation skills for cooperation with developers, testers, clients, and other project participants.
