The Data Analyst at DP World develops key performance indicators which can be used to solve business problems, creates user-friendly reports, constructs star-schema data models, establishes data governance framework, and works with different teams to produce analytics solutions which deliver high performance and superior quality.

Main Duties

  • Translate business questions into KPIs and metrics and user stories which include specified acceptance criteria. 
  • Designers create Power BI reports and dashboards which use storytelling and visual design and accessibility best practices to create user-friendly interfaces for different user roles. 
  • Construct and manage data models and semantic layers and DAX measures and Power Query transformations and optimized dataflows. 
  • Data accuracy while they establish incremental refresh procedures and security measures and track dashboard performance to improve system efficiency. 
  • Various departments to establish project priorities while they search for robotic process automation solutions which will help them deliver analytical results more quickly.

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, or related field.
  • Three to five years of experience in data analysis, Power BI development, or business intelligence. 
  • Demonstrate advanced Power BI Desktop and Service skills together with DAX, Power Query, and data modeling expertise. 
  • Expertise in Azure SQL/Synapse SQL and expertise in handling Data Lake and cloud platform operations. 
  • Developing data governance frameworks and documentation requirements together with enterprise-wide reporting systems.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Expertise in Fabric DirectLake and advanced Azure tools. 
  • Demonstrate experience with Tabular Editor ALM Toolkit and Power BI REST API. 
  • The applicant needs to demonstrate the ability to enhance performance for extensive data models and dashboard systems. 
  • Possesses strong abilities in problem-solving and analytical tasks while working with teams from different departments.
  • Worked in Agile delivery through participating in backlog management sprint planning and user story development activities.
