Job Description

The Vertiv company is recruiting a data analyst to assist in decision-making for executives, engineering project reporting, and performance analysis using data analytics and reporting tools in the United Arab Emirates. The job involves converting data into insights while enhancing the process of reporting in terms of quality, effectiveness, and efficiency. It entails creating KPIs, metrics, executive reports, project analysis, and dashboards, which will be used to convey information in an actionable way. The ability to use data analytics is highly recommended.

Experience: 3–5+ years of experience in data management, reporting, or data analysis.  

Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree/Master’s Degree (Preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Analyze, prepare, and present data to executives and projects’ stakeholders by recognizing patterns and trends.
  • Create and support Power BI dashboards using the correct key performance indicators, graphics, executive summary, and performance indicators of projects.
  • Design datasets, tables, templates, trackers, and data models, keeping the accuracy, consistency, and integrity.
  • Apply Power Query and automation methods in order to increase efficiency in the process of data gathering and reporting.
  • Help the cross-functional teams in reporting and business intelligence tasks.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3-5+ years of experience in managing, reporting, or analyzing data.
  • Solid experience in database management, Microsoft Excel, Power Query, Power BI, and reporting or visualization tools.
  • SQL skills are required, and knowledge of M & DAX is an added advantage.
  • Experience in preparing executive reports, project performance reports, dashboards, and graphs/presentations.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills, with experience in handling huge data sets.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Excellent skill at analyzing datasets, finding patterns, and providing actionable insights.
  • Experience in building dashboards and reports for management and business decision-makers.
  • Expertise in database queries and working with relational databases and structured datasets.
  • Strong skills at communicating complex messages through dashboards, reports, and presentation graphics.
  • Experience in building reporting tools and driving business decisions with data.
