Job Description

Amazon is hiring a Data Analyst for the AMET Central Data Analytics Team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The role focuses on analyzing business data, developing dashboards, automating reporting processes, and providing actionable insights to improve operational performance. Working closely with multiple business teams, the Data Analyst helps leadership make informed decisions through accurate reporting and advanced analytics.

Responsibilities

  • Develop data collection processes and maintain efficient data management systems.
  • Design SQL queries, compile data, and generate business reports.
  • Build Amazon QuickSight dashboards and automate analysis using Python.
  • Prepare Weekly Business Reviews (WBR), Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR), and project reports.
  • Analyze business trends and support leadership, ICQA, and Learning teams with actionable insights.

Requirements

  • Strong analytical, communication, and project management experience.
  • Experience with SQL, Python, dashboard development, and data visualization.
  • Knowledge of AWS services including Redshift, S3, AWS Glue, EMR, Kinesis, Firehose, Lambda, and IAM.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into data-driven solutions and recommendations.
  • Experience with machine learning systems or technical support is preferred.
