Datamaze is recruiting for the Software Product Testing Engineer for Hyderabad or Dubai. This job requires the hired person to ensure that the software product is reliable and quality and performance are maintained using various testing techniques. Manual testing, automation testing, regression testing, defect tracking, performance and load testing, and test environments are included in the job role. It also includes working with developers and product managers in the development process to find out defects and help improve the design of the software. 

Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

  • Create, document, and execute test strategies, plans, and test cases that comply with product and business requirements.
  • Perform manual testing for functional and non-functional, regression, and end-to-end testing for defect identification and usability.
  • Create and manage automation testing scripts based on frameworks like Selenium, Appium, Cypress, TestNG, or equivalent frameworks.
  • Perform performance testing and load testing with the help of JMeter, LoadRunner, or other equivalents.
  • Document and track defects and work with development teams and testing environments.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or related fields, or equivalent work experience.
  • Knowledge about various software testing techniques, such as black box testing, white box testing, functional testing, and non-functional testing.
  • Experience in working with automation testing tools like Selenium, Cypress, TestNG, or other similar tools.
  • Knowledge of performance testing using JMeter, LoadRunner, and other similar tools.
  • Familiarity with Jira, TestRail, Git, etc., and other related tools.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in software testing/QA or any relevant position.
  • Experience in testing web-based applications, APIs, and mobile applications.
  • Understanding of how to incorporate testing within the CI/CD development processes.
  • Excellent analytical & detail-oriented with the capability to identify complex software issues.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to self-manage.
