Job Description

SAP Technical Solution Architect is a technology-related position at IBM Consulting, which focuses on designing and governance of enterprise-level SAP solutions in challenging client environments. This means that this position requires leadership in the technical architecture via SAP S/4HANA, SAP BTP, and SAP Integration Suite, in such a way that the solution fits the standards of the company and security requirements, as well as the digital strategy in general. SAP Technical Solution Architect must have extensive experience in the following fields: Enterprise Architecture, Cloud Deployment Models, Integration Patterns, Identity Management, and SAP Business AI Capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end technical architecture for SAP S/4HANA, SAP BTP, SAP Integration Suite, SAP Work Zone, and new SAP technology platforms.
  • Develop solutions for enterprise architecture that are scalable and secured according to client standards, security policies, compliance, and digital roadmaps.
  • Manage technical decisions, architecture review processes, quality, and architecture integrity during the lifecycle of deliveries.
  • Help prepare for responses to RFPs, develop proposals, shape solutions, estimate efforts, size commercially and technically.
  • Offer technical leadership and be an escalation point for delivery teams as well as mitigate risks.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or any other relevant technical field.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA architecture, clean core, and extensibility.
  • Proficiency in SAP Business Technology Platform, such as Integration Suite, CAP, RAP, ABAP Cloud, APIs, and event driven architecture.
  • Experience with SAP Integration Suite for SAP and non-SAP integrations, APIs, message patterns, and enterprise connectivity.
  • Knowledge of enterprise architecture that is secure and scalable with cloud deployment model, identity, and authorization.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in designing and managing multi-platform solutions through the complex IT landscape of an enterprise.
  • In-depth knowledge in the areas of scalability, performance, high availability, and application architecture resilience.
  • Experience with enterprise architectures and analysis of new technologies.
  • SAP Business AI, Joule capabilities, and adoption of enterprise artificial intelligence.
  • Extensive consulting, stakeholder management, and collaboration experience in SAP multi-vendor environment.
