Job Description

The Engineer/Core Platforms Implementation at e& is responsible for maintaining and improving essential network infrastructure which includes Deep Packet Inspection (DPI) systems and Domain Name System (DNS) services. The team works to improve network performance through traffic intelligence monitoring and system reliability testing while working with senior engineers to build secure and scalable network systems.

Main Duties

  • Assist in operating, monitoring, and troubleshooting DPI platforms such as Sandvine, Allot, and Huawei.
  • Support DNS infrastructure, including both recursive and authoritative DNS servers.
  • Analyze network traffic patterns and application usage using DPI tools.
  • Participate in traffic shaping, policy enforcement, and content filtering configurations.
  • Monitor DNS performance, availability, and security, including DNSSEC and DDoS mitigation.

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science Telecommunications Network Engineering or a related field is required for this position. 
  • Basic knowledge of networking protocols which include TCP/IP and HTTP and DNS. 
  • Knowledge of BGP and OSPF and MPLS routing protocols will have an advantage. 
  • UAE National status and provide a Family Book as proof.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Desire to work on network infrastructure projects which include developing traffic intelligence systems. 
  • Knowledge of DPI and DNS tools through practical experience in actual working environments. 
  • Analytical abilities which enable me to solve problems effectively. 
  • Technical teams from different departments to achieve our goals.
