Job Description

Group 42 is hiring a Director of Cloud Operations located in Abu Dhabi, UAE. This role requires being at the forefront of enterprise-level strategies in the areas of IT infrastructure, cloud operations, and cloud transformation initiatives. Some of the roles and responsibilities include infrastructure operations, Azure, multi-cloud platform, security measures, disaster recovery, and service delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Management of IT infrastructure for Cloud Computing, Networking, Storage and Servers across the entire organization.
  • Designing Azure Cloud Infrastructure that can scale and secure the infrastructure for improved performance of the business environment.
  • Cloud Migration Project Management to ensure successful infrastructure transformation.
  • Disaster Recovery and SLA Management together with Improvement Management of operational services.
  • Working with critical partners in improving the security and governance of cloud infrastructure.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s Degree besides 15 years of work experience in IT infrastructure as a leader is mandatory.
  • Work Experience in Azure Cloud Architecture and migration of IT infrastructure to cloud within enterprise environment.
  • Awareness of Kubernetes, Terraform, DevOps, virtualization and Networking.
  • Leadership Skills, Stakeholder Management Skills, Strategic Planning Skills and Communication Skills.
  • Desirable Certifications include: Microsoft, AWS, TOGAF, ITIL, Terraform and CKA.
