Job Description

SAP is seeking a Forward Deployed Senior Data Scientist (based out of Dubai) who can deliver innovative solutions to business challenges leveraging the latest in data science and artificial intelligence. Analytics, machine learning, modeling, statistics, and customer interaction will be key requirements in this job position to deliver immediate solutions. It is the duty of the candidate to create models, predictions, forecasts, anomalies, and experiment platforms. It will be necessary to work in collaboration with customers, AI engineers, data engineers, product managers, and UX designers to deliver solutions.

Experience: Developing predictive models, recommendation systems, forecasting models, anomaly detection, and classification algorithms.

Responsibilities

  • Develop new data science solutions such as exploratory analyzes, prediction, classification, clustering, recommendations, and anomaly detection.
  • Build ML models based on Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and XGBoost frameworks.
  • Construct Generative AI solutions with LLMs, RAG, embeddings, vector databases, and AI orchestration platforms.
  • Use predictive analytics in enterprise business scenarios setting up metrics for evaluation of models’ performance.
  • Collaborate with the client’s teams and other domain experts to develop effective AI solutions.

Qualifications

  • Excellent skills in data science, machine learning, and applied artificial intelligence; Python and SQL expertise.
  • Exexperience in building predictive models, recommendation engines, forecasting models, anomaly detection and classification models.
  • LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG, embeddings, vector databases, and AI frameworks, including LangGraph, LangChain, CrewAI, and AutoGen.
  • Hands-on experience in building AI and machine learning solutions through cloud-native and MLOps strategies.
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills, with experience in customer-facing positions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in translating complex business requirements of enterprises into practical AI solutions.
  • Experience in ensuring accuracy, reliability, interpretability, and performance of machine learning models in production environment.
  • Experience in incorporating Generative AI and machine learning solutions within existing applications of the enterprises.
  • Good knowledge about complex data landscape, including feature engineering, data preparation, model evaluation, and development of analytical solutions.
  • Experience in building innovative AI solutions that cater to both technical and business needs.
