Job Description

The Senior Manager, Group IT Controls oversees all processes which include creating IT general controls and application controls and their subsequent monitoring activities. The role strengthens IT governance, manages technology risks, and ensures system security and compliance. The organization works together with IT and finance and business departments to implement proper control procedures throughout their ERP and financial and operational technology systems.

Main Duties

  • Establish and maintain an all-inclusive IT control framework which includes IT general controls, application security checks, and procedures for managing changes. 
  • Discover IT-related threats that affect all systems and networks and infrastructure components while they establish effective security measures and control systems. 
  • Organization needs to manage all internal and external IT audits while they work to resolve audit findings and meet all regulatory compliance demands. 
  • Together to establish IT controls for both ERP systems and enterprise applications which will connect their IT operations with their business functions. 
  • The organization needs to monitor user access control systems and duties segregation controls and system change processes to maintain data security. 
  • Assist with implementing governance risk and compliance solutions which will enhance their ability to track and assess IT control systems. 
  • Organisations need to monitor control performance indicators while they present essential risks and problems and control breaches to their top executives.

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Accounting Information Systems, or related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in IT audit, IT risk management, or IT controls.
  • At least 3 to 4 years of leadership or management experience in technology risk or audit functions.
  • Strong understanding of IT general controls, application controls, and enterprise control frameworks.
  • Experience working with ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle Fusion, or Microsoft Dynamics.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional teams and lead complex technology governance initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional certifications such as CISA, CISM, CISSP, or equivalent IT governance and security certifications.
  • Experience working with cloud platforms and modern enterprise IT environments.
  • Strong project management and stakeholder communication skills.
  • Experience implementing governance, risk, and compliance automation tools.
  • Ability to drive organizational change and strengthen enterprise technology governance frameworks.
