Job Description

The Network Engineer at Al-Futtaim Technologies supports enterprise network infrastructure through deployment of Cisco and Aruba solutions which includes network performance monitoring and issue troubleshooting and maintenance of reliable network connectivity. The role requires collaboration with customers and partners and service providers to create ICT solutions which meet security requirements and scalability needs while maintaining business operations and achieving service-level targets.

Main Duties

• Implement enterprise data network and ICT solutions while coordinating with customers, vendors, and service providers.
• Monitor and maintain routers, switches, wireless controllers, and firewalls to ensure stable enterprise network performance.
• Perform diagnostics and troubleshooting to resolve network incidents and maintain high system availability.
• Install network infrastructure including Cisco and Aruba wireless systems, load balancers, and security devices.
• Manage system upgrades, maintenance activities, and change management processes to ensure reliable network operations.

Essential Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering Telecom IT Computer Science or a related technical field. 
• CCNP certification and demonstrate extensive skills in Cisco networking technologies and infrastructure management. 
• Possess at least five years of practical experience in routing and switching and wireless networking and security solutions. 
• Demonstrate strong understanding of networking protocols which include OSPF STP HSRP QoS IPSEC and TCP/IP architecture. 
• Developed practical skills through enterprise network troubleshooting and customer infrastructure environment support work.

Preferred Qualifications

• Expertise in configuring Aruba wireless solutions together with Cisco networking equipment and enterprise firewalls.
• Practical knowledge of network monitoring tools and diagnostics platforms and infrastructure performance analytical tools.
• Experience in managing networking projects through their entire lifecycle, which includes project design and deployment and system testing and operational documentation development.
• Capability to handle all aspects of incident management, which includes both preventive maintenance procedures and system health assessment tasks for multiple customer locations.
• Experience delivering technical training and operational support to customers, which includes networking system solutions and system operation procedures.
