Job Description

The Financial Data Analyst position at Al-Futtaim, needs an expert who can perform financial analysis work to assist with strategic decision-making through financial planning and forecasting work and performance evaluation. The position involves budgeting work and FP&A reporting responsibilities together with working capital optimization tasks and Cash Flow Management duties while the employee collaborates with both business leaders and finance stakeholders to improve operational and financial outcomes.

Main Duties

  • Lead the budgeting process and forecasting activities which include both profit and loss statements and balance sheet accounts for their division. 
  • Prepare management reports with insights, commentary, and variance analysis.
  • Assist team during the financial close process which occurs every month and operates a KPI reporting system.
  • Manage cash flow forecasting and coordinate funding requirements.
  • Track the company’s working capital situation while searching for ways to boost our available cash flow.
  • Provide comprehensive reports which include information about inventory and receivables and service contracts.
  • Lead data analytics projects together with automation work and system improvement projects.

Essential Qualifications

  • Professional qualification in Finance or Accounting such as CA, CPA, or CFA.
  • Relevant experience in FP&A and data-driven finance roles.
  • Candidates must demonstrate complete knowledge of forecasting methodologies and cash flow principles.
  • Ideal candidates should possess expert skills in financial modelling and variance analysis.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Excel PowerPoint and financial systems which include SAP.
  • Displays a strong ability to communicate with stakeholders and work together with team members.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Has experience in collaborating with international finance and treasury departments.
  • Work with financial planning systems and prediction analysis tools.
  • Ideal candidates can operate under strict time constraints while delivering results in high-pressure situations.
  • Candidates possess strong analytical abilities which enable them to notice even minor details.
