Emirates is recruiting for the Lead Quality Assurance Engineer job in Dubai. It revolves around building and executing quality engineering methodologies within an agile release train while maintaining high-quality standards throughout the software development life cycle. It entails crafting testing strategies, designing a scalable test automation framework, setting up quality gates, and facilitating CI/CD quality controls for software delivery. This involves working closely with technical product owners, architects, software engineers, release trains, and business people to improve testing and delivery assurance. Responsibilities

• Collaborate with project team members, product owners, architects, and software engineers to convert the functional and non-functional requirements into solid end-to-end testing.
• Coordinate test efforts and dependencies between other release train teams in parallel delivery streams.
• Setup the test environment and facilitate correct measurement of quality metrics for program and enterprise dashboards.
• Coach software engineers in writing and maintaining automated functional tests using continuous integration.
• Develop, maintain, and evolve automation frameworks and test harnesses along with fulfilling the quality gates and release criteria.

Qualifications

• Quality engineering experience in complex and scalable digital, data, or enterprise software solutions.
• Demonstrated experience in managing quality engineers, test leads, and their testing processes.
• Good knowledge of quality approaches, governance models, testing standards, and program-level quality controls.
• Hands-on experience in test planning, release assurance, defect management, RAID management, executive quality reporting, and confidence in delivery.
• Knowledge of release readiness assessment, executive dashboard, and evidence-based release reporting.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in working with multiple products, integration, teams, and business work streams.
• Good capability in building test automation and quality engineering practices in a scalable way.
• Experience in working on Agile Release Trains and multi-stream delivery.
• Understanding of APIs, microservices, regression testing, data migration, UAT, and testing of end-to-end business processes.
• Experience in collaborating with architects, the program management team, delivery teams, vendors, and business stakeholders.
