Element is recruiting candidates to fill the position of the QA/QC Engineer located in Sharjah. Responsibilities

• Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections of materials, products, and assemblies, including material handling through lifting and rigging.
• Coordinate test/certification/inspection processes while ensuring product identification, batch numbers, serial numbers, and traceability are accurate.
• Maintain quality documentation such as inspection reports, NCRs, corrective actions, calibration reports, audit reports, and customer documentation.
• Report and follow up on non-conformance reports, determine root cause, initiate corrective actions, and ensure completion of rework or corrective action.
• Coordinate with production, testing, stores, procurement, HSE, project, and dispatch departments as well as with quality processes with customers, vendors, and third-party inspectors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, civil engineering, manufacturing, quality, or a related field.
• 2 to 5 years of experience in QA/QC in manufacturing, fabrication, rigging, wire rope, construction, engineering, or the industrial or energy sector.
• Inspection, testing, verification, and quality documentation experience.
• Knowledge of the ISO 9001 quality management system.
• Experience in material inspection, documentation review from suppliers, NCR management, corrective action follow-up, and technical specification/customer documentation.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with lifting gear, rigging equipment, wire ropes, slings, shackles, sockets, hoists, cranes, or other material handling equipment.
• Experience working with customer inspection, third-party inspection, and/or certification documentation.
• Awareness of calibration requirements of measurement and test equipment.
• ISO 9001 Internal Auditor or Lead Auditor, QA/QC, Welding Inspector, Lifting Equipment Inspector, NDT, Calibration, and Material Testing certified.
• Experience working according to the needs of the energy and oil & gas customers, and knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook.
