Job Description

e& is hiring an Expert Engineer/Application & End Point Security to strengthen web application security across enterprise environments. The role focuses on F5 WAF administration, security policy optimisation, threat monitoring, vulnerability remediation, and incident response support. Key responsibilities include configuring WAF protections, analysing attack logs, performing security upgrades, supporting SOC investigations, and integrating security controls. Strong expertise in WAF technologies, OWASP Top 10, network security, and application protection is required.

Responsibilities

  • WAF web application management, such as security profile management, policy management and customised configurations.
  • Monitoring and tuning of WAF policies, attack logs, alerts and application security controls to avoid false positives.
  • Performing WAF security enhancement, vulnerability patching, updates, backups and resource management.
  • Support the SOC and incident response team with WAF logs and attacks.
  • Documenting WAF and integrate it with SIEM, PAM, RSA, SolarWinds and other tools.

Requirements

  • Experience of at least 6 years in handling WAF management and web application security.
  • Experience in WAF troubleshooting and configuring WAF security with F5 WAF.
  • Knowledge about OWASP Top 10 and web application security with knowledge of attack mechanisms.
  • Knowledge in networking protocols, firewalls and web servers.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or information technology.

Preferred Qualifications

  • A CEH or an equivalent certification in cybersecurity is preferred.
  • Ability to script languages for WAF automation and customisation.
  • Ability to understand cloud security management, endpoint and application security, and threat management.
  • Incident response, security analytics, anomaly detection, and information security operations support experience.
  • Effective communication and collaboration abilities with cybersecurity and other teams.
