Job Description
GMG is hiring for the IT Support Engineer role, which enables the seamless working of the IT infrastructure in both warehouse and factory settings. This particular job requires the following skill sets: technical support, management of IT hardware and software, enterprise applications, and warehouse technology systems. Some of the tasks associated with this particular role include the resolution of IT issues, management of IT infrastructure, service ticket management, and management of enterprise applications like SAP and Office 365. IT project implementation and rollout of IT systems are some other aspects of this role.

Responsibilities
- Give technical assistance in support of IT hardware, operating systems, software applications, and technology systems in the warehouse.
- Perform installations, configurations, and troubleshooting for scanners, printers, barcode readers, mobile devices, and other IT hardware.
- Handle IT service tickets and solve technical problems in accordance with predetermined service level agreements.
- Handle enterprise applications, servers, virtual machines, and technology systems in the warehouse.
- Work on IT projects, application deployments, vendor management, procurement, and preventive maintenance tasks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or any related field.
- Three to five years’ experience in jobs like helpdesk, technical support, and IT support.
- Excellent understanding of IT hardware, software, and operating system configuration and troubleshooting.
- Experience with enterprise-level applications and ticket-based IT Service Management (ITSM) tool environments.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and customer support skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in the environment of warehouses, logistics, and factory technology.
- Familiarity with SAP, MDM, Office 365, RoutePro, and other enterprise software applications.
- Knowledge of networking, virtualization, and virtual machine technologies.
- Experience in administering SafeQ servers, local servers, MDF, and IDF.
- Experience in IT projects, vendor coordination, and technology rollout activities.
