Job Description

The Project Management Specialist at Emirates Group plays a critical role in supporting the Cloud ERP programme by managing planning, governance, reporting, and coordination across multiple workstreams. The position requires coordination of project milestones together with risk management while establishing effective work relationships between business and technical departments to deliver successful results for enterprise transformation projects.

Responsibilities

  • Create and control a complete Cloud ERP program plan which requires collaboration between various business departments and technical teams. 
  • Oversee project progress by monitoring milestones and project scope and cross-functional dependencies to achieve project deadlines.
  • Track project progress by overseeing both risks and issues while implementing their respective mitigation and escalation procedures. 
  • Work with different departments to address project dependencies which will enable them to execute their tasks without interruptions. 
  • Create dashboards, RAID logs and executive reports which will assist in governance and decision-making processes. 
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting and cost control activities which will support the management of program lifecycle governance.

Essential Qualifications

  • Degree or Honours qualification in a relevant discipline.
  • 5+ years of experience in project management or programme support.
  • Certifications such as CAPM, PMP, or PRINCE2 preferred.
  • Candidates should have experience working with either ERP systems or large-scale transformation projects.
  • Demonstrate both strong stakeholder management abilities and effective communication competencies.
  • Proficiency in using MS Office applications, Project management software, Visio, and SharePoint.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Should have experience working in either the aviation sector or IT sector or large-scale enterprise digital transformation projects.
  • Demonstrate strong analytical skills which enable him or her to handle complex program interdependencies and program interdependencies between different programs.
  • Experience with Cloud ERP systems and their implementation processes and enterprise system integration practices.
  • Demonstrate his or her capacity to operate in environments which require quick decision making while maintaining strong focus on detailed work.
