The Data & Analytics Lead at Al-Futtaim Finance develops and implements enterprise data and AI strategies which support the Group’s digital transformation initiatives. Main Duties

  • Work as the head of Data and AI Enablement strategy which operates under the CDO office and Digital Transformation initiatives of the organization.
  • Create and implement AI-powered data platforms which feature expandable data processing systems and data management policies.
  • Develops internal AI and machine learning systems which enhance credit risk assessment, pricing models, fraud detection methods, and collection process improvements.
  • Execute metadata management together with lineage tracking and data quality systems to achieve governance compliance.
  • Create executive dashboards that display profitability and equity and return on equity while enabling users to perform self-service analytics.
  • Work with divisional departments to promote data asset sharing while preventing the development of duplicate projects.
  • Control vendor partnerships while achieving 95% service level agreement compliance and keeping expenses under the approved budget.

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in Data & Analytics roles with at least 5 years in leadership capacity.
  • Strong expertise in Azure Data Factory, Power BI, SQL, and Fabric Lakehouse.
  • Hands-on experience with Python, Scikit-learn, and Azure ML for AI/ML deployment.
  • Deep understanding of financial product data models including Portfolio, Profitability, and RoE.
  • Proven experience designing and delivering fully AI-enabled enterprise data platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of data governance, certified data concepts, lineage, and quality frameworks.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience delivering AI/ML use cases such as credit risk modeling, pricing optimization, and digital twins.
  • Proven track record managing data engineering and BI teams, both internal and vendor.
  • Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Strategic mindset with strong execution and transformation leadership capabilities.
